Research

My research will focus on nucleation, crystallization, SSA thermal fractionation, self-nucleation, and kinetics of bio-based/biodegradable (co)polymers with a multiphasic structure. Particular emphasis is made on the melt memory of chemically recyclable polyolefin-like multiblock polymers and their application to polymer processing and properties.
• Morphology and Process of Polymer Crystallization
Characterize the crystalline morphology and crystallization process of polymers using PLOM and AFM.
• Nucleation, Crystallization Kinetics, and Melting Behavior
Investigate nucleation, crystallization kinetics, and melting behavior of polymers through DSC.
• Crystalline Structure and Phase Transitions
Analyze polymer crystal structures and phase transitions during heating and cooling processes via WAXS/SAXS.
• Molecular Chain Dynamics in Crystalline Polymers
Study the molecular chain dynamics of semi-crystalline polymers using dielectric spectroscopy.
• Relaxation Behavior of Polymer Melts
Explore the relaxation behavior of polymer melts through rheological characterization methods.
