Education

Ana Trajcheva earned her B.Sc. in Engineering of Materials and Nanotechnology from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University -Skopje in September 2017. Her Bachelor's Thesis was related to the examination of the potential application of modified MWCNTs and neat MWCNTs as sorbents for heavy metal ions of copper, iron and nickel.
She obtained her M.Sc in Polymer Materials from the same University in September 2020. Her M.Sc was part of NATO SPS G5244 project where she had the position of young researcher. During that period several short research stays were realized, namely 4 times in POLYMAT under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Radmila Tomovska. There she had the opportunity to attend courses like: Introduction to the Structure and Properties of Polymers and Emulsion Polymerization Processes. The aim of her Master thesis was to offer nanocomposites as gas sorbent materials, obtained by different approaches, where different polymer waterborne systems were reinforced with carbon based fillers.

Research

Ana is a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Radmila Tomovska. Her research is focused on novel strategies to Reduce End of Reaction VOC in Acrylic Systems and it is part of the Industrial Liaison Program (ILP).
