Our research is centred on the design of functional polymer colloids through emulsion polymerisation and other polymerisation processes in dispersed media. By controlling particle formation, morphology, interfaces and hierarchical assembly, we create advanced colloidal systems with tailored properties for energy, environmental and sustainable technologies.
Our expertise spans polymer reaction engineering, colloidal science and interface engineering, enabling the development of both polymeric and hybrid colloids incorporating inorganic nanomaterials. These colloidal building blocks are designed not only at the molecular level but also through precise control of particle architecture and assembly, allowing the fabrication of multifunctional materials with enhanced performance.
