Education

Michele Di Lorenzo earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in Physics from the University of Luigi Vanvitelli in Caserta, Italy. For his bachelor's thesis, he conducted a study on the origins of atmospheric particulate matter in the city of Naples using HYSPLIT software, in collaboration with the University of Córdoba, where he spent a year on an Erasmus study programme. For his master's thesis, he conducted research into high-efficiency tin-based perovskite solar cells at the Institute of Advanced Materials (INAM) in Castellón de la Plana, during a six-month Erasmus traineeship, and at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore, as a research student for three months.

Research

Michele is currently a PhD student supervised by Prof. Juan Luis Delgado at POLYMAT and Prof. Sofia Masi at INAM. His research focuses on the fabrication of tin-based perovskite solar cells, the incorporation of organic materials into the various layers of the solar cells, and the subsequent evaluation and characterisation of their photovoltaic properties.
