Ane Olazabal
Ane Olazabal Abarrategui earned her B. Sc in Environmental Science from the University of the Basque Country in March of 2020. She did the Master in Chemistry and Polymers in the University of the Basque Country obtaining the specialization in polymers in 2021. During the master thesis, she worked on the optimization and scale up of the synthesis of bio-based polyols under the supervision of Dr. Andere Basterretxea and Dr. Haritz Sardon, at POLYMAT/POLYKEY
In November 2021, Ane obtained a PhD Fellowship to work on the synthesis of different bio-based polyols and optimization of the scaling up for polyurethanes application under the supervision of Dr. Haritz Sardon and Dr. Andere Basterretxea, at POLYMAT/POLYKEY. Her serearch is focused on the synthesis, the characterization of polyether polyols and their trial in polyurethanes formulations.
