Kiarash Farajzadehahary

Kiarash received his bachelor's and master's degrees in polymer engineering from the University of Tehran. In the meantime, he worked there as a Teaching Assistant in polymerization process engineering and the application of computers in polymer engineering. During his master’s, he worked on the compatibilization of PHB/PCL using nanoparticles and investigated morphological, rheological, mechanical, and thermal behaviors of this bio-blend.   Since May 2022, Kiarash has been working on his Ph.D. project in POLYMAT, Basque Center for Macromolecular Design and Engineering under the supervision of Prof. José M. Asua and Dr. Nicholas Ballard. His current research is focused on utilizing machine learning in emulsion polymerization.
