Prof. Maria Forsyth Awarded €3.5 Million ERC Advanced Grant to Develop Next-Generation Sodium Batteries
Prof. Maria Forsyth, Ikerbasque Research Professor at POLYMAT, has been awarded a €3.5 million ERC Advanced Grant for POLARIS, a project developing safer, more sustainable sodium-based solid-state batteries. The initiative aims to overcome key scientific challenges and was selected among just 319 funded projects from 3,329 applications.
