Silvia García Ulloa receives a Flash Presentation Award at GEP 2026

POLYMAT researcher Silvia García Ulloa received a Flash Presentation Award at GEP 2026, the XVIII Conference of the Specialized Group on Polymers, held in Valencia from 14 to 17 September 2026.

Silvia was recognised for the presentation “Reactivity Analysis of Urea, Urethane, and Thiourethane Derivatives Using Computational and Experimental Methods”, a contribution co-authored with Mikel Irigoyen Urtasun, Jon Mattin Matxain Beraza and Haritz Sardon Muguruza.

Researchers from POLYMAT’s Polymers and Energy and Polymers and Sustainability research areas participated in the conference, presenting their latest work and exchanging ideas with the polymer science community.

Held every two years, the GEP conference brings together researchers working across different areas of polymer science and promotes scientific exchange and new collaborations.
