POLYMAT Researchers at Materialen Zientzia eta Teknologia 2026

More than 25 researchers from POLYMAT participated in the latest edition of the Materials Science and Technology Conference (Materialen Zientzia eta Teknologia Kongresua), presenting their research in Basque alongside scientists from universities, technology centres and industry.

Held every two years, the conference has become a key meeting point for the Basque materials science community. Beyond showcasing cutting-edge research, it plays an important role in promoting Basque as a language for scientific and technical communication, fostering the development of specialised terminology and encouraging collaboration among researchers.

POLYMAT’s strong participation reflects the centre’s commitment not only to scientific excellence but also to the dissemination of research in Basque, contributing to the visibility and normalisation of the language in advanced materials research.
