Dhiraj Mishra
Dhiraj holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry (2019) from Savitribai Phule Pune University (formerly the University of Pune), India. He later pursued a Master's degree in Polymer Science (2021) from the same university.
Dhiraj is a Ph.D. student in the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) program, working on a Theratools project. Prior to joining the program, he gained valuable experience at the National Chemical Laboratory (NCL) in Pune, India, focusing on the design and development of polymeric nanocarriers for drug delivery in colon cancer treatment, as well as oil-based gels for pheromone release. For the initial two years of his Ph.D. program, Dhiraj will be working in the Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Nanomaterials Science at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology under the supervision of Prof. Alejandro Sosnik. Here, he will be involved in the development of "Peptide shuttle-modified self-assembled nanocarriers for actively targeting glioblastoma cancer cells." In his final year, Dhiraj will transition to the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and work within the Responsive Polymer Therapeutics Group under the supervision of Dr. Ana Beloqui Elizazu.
