Prof. Juan Luis Delgado
Prof. Juan Luis Delgado has been working for the last 26 years on the fields of Organic Materials for Photovoltaics, light harvesting and artificial photosynthetic systems. He obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry at UCLM (Spain) in 2004 under the supervision of Prof. F. Langa. Afterwards, he joined the group of Prof. J.-F. Nierengarten, at the ECPM-CNRS (Strasbourg, France). He then joined the group of Prof. N. Martín at University Complutense of Madrid as a “Juan de la Cierva” postdoctoral fellow. From 2008 to 2014, he was a Senior “Ramón & Cajal” Researcher at IMDEA-Nanoscience (Madrid, Spain). In 2013, he was awarded with the “Young Researcher Award” of RSEQ-Lilly Spain and the “Emerging Investigator Award” of RSEQ-Sigma-Aldrich Spain. In 2014, he was awarded with an “Ikerbasque Research Fellowship” and in 2019, he was promoted to Ikerbasque Research Associate Professor in BERC Polymat.
His has published more than 100 publications (h = 43 > 6300 citations google scholar) in prestigious journals: J. Am. Chem. Soc., Ang. Chem. Int. Ed., Chem. Soc. Rev, Energy & Environ. Sci., Chem. Sci., Adv. Energy Mater., ChemSusChem, J. of Mater. Chem, Chem. Commun. or Chem.-Eur. J. His mentoring experience includes supervising several Ph.D. Students (11), and 9 postdoctoral students.
