Dr. Izabela Kurowska
Izabela holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (2016) and a Master of Science in Chemistry (2018), both from the University of Bialystok, Poland. In 2024, she completed her Ph.D. in Chemistry with distinction at the same institution. Her dissertation, titled "Diverse Strategies of Reversible Addition-Fragmentation Chain Transfer (RAFT) Polymerization to Obtain Polymers with Desired Properties and Architecture," was co-supervised by Prof. Agnieszka Z. Wilczewska and Prof. Mathias Destarac. As part of her doctoral studies, she spent a year at the SOFTMAT laboratory in Toulouse, France, supported by the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship, where she advanced her expertise in photo-induced RAFT polymerization.
Since September 2024, Izabela has been working as a postdoctoral researcher in the Innovative Polymers Group, focusing on the synthesis of polymers for energy applications.
