Iosu Burgaña Revert

Iosu Burgaña Revert earned his BSc in Chemistry from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in 2022. In June 2023, he finished the Double Master in Polymer Science (DMIPS) obtaining the Master's degree in Chemistry and Polymers from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and the Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Bordeaux (UBx). During his Bachelor's final project, he studied the rheological superposition of oriented polymers under the supervision of Dr. Robert Aguirresarobe and Dra. Itxaso Calafel. For his Master's final project, he worked on the toughening of bio-based PA4,10 under the supervision of Dra. Nora Aramburu and Prof. Itziar Otaegi. Currently, he is doing his PhD project in the Polymer Physics & Advanced Manufacturing group under the supervision of Dra. Nora Aranburu. Iosu’s research focuses on the melt processing of biobased polymeric blends and their improvement of properties to replace conventional petrochemical polymers. At present, his focus is on PLA/PBSA blends for packaging applications.
