Dr. Luis Alberto Loaeza Diaz

Dr. Luis Loaeza Díaz obtained his B.Sc. and M. Sc. in Chemistry at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). In March 2022, he received his Ph. D. title via a double degree program between the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and the Université Toulouse III – Paul Sabatier (UPS) with the supervision of Prof. Norberto Farfán (UNAM) and Prof. Remi Chauvin (UPS) working in the preparation of NIR dyes and carbo-benzenes as well as studying his optical properties.  He joined the group of Prof. Aurelio Mateo-Alonso towards the end of 2022. His current research is focused on the synthesis and characterization of nanographenes and covalent organic frameworks.
