Dr.Naroa López Larrea
Naroa López Larrea received her B. Sc. in Chemistry with mention in Chemistry & Bio-science by the University of the Basque Country in June 2020. In 2019 she moved to University of Strathclyde in Glasgow (UK) under ERASMUS+ programme. Her bachelor project was focused on synthesis of polymeric nano-aggregates for drug delivery. In July 2021 she earned her M. Sc. in Chemistry and Polymers from the University of the Basque Country. Her master thesis was focused on the 3D printing of conducting polymers for application in tissue engineering.
Naroa started working in the group thanks to a Summer Internship in POLYMAT. After finishing her PhD in Polymers in 2024, and after several secondments in KAUST, she continues working under the supervision of Prof. David Mecerreyes. Her research is focused on the development of multifunctional and 3D printable PEDOT-based materials for bioelectronic applications.
