The Polymeric Materials for Additive Manufacturing Workshop

The Joxe Mari Korta Center in San Sebastian successfully hosted the Workshop on Polymeric Materials for Additive Manufacturing from May 25 to 28. Organized with a dynamic and comprehensive approach that seamlessly combined theoretical rigor with practical training (Hands-On), the event brought together leading experts to explore the present and future of 3D printing.

During the sessions, attendees had the opportunity to delve deeply into the four fundamental pillars of the workshop:

Rheology: Prof. Michael Bortner analyzed the complex behavior of polymers in additive manufacturing processes.

Reactivity: Prof. Timothy Long led comprehensive sessions on polymer terminology and classification.

Resolution: Prof. Christopher Williams detailed the core fundamentals and latest advances in additive manufacturing processes.

Sustainability: Dr. Xabier Lopez de Pariza concluded the thematic axes by addressing the vital importance of circularity within the sector.

POLYMAT extends its deepest gratitude to the speakers and all attendees for their active participation and dedication. Your involvement was instrumental in making this workshop a true space for scientific excellence and technological advancement.
