Mr. Oliver Wolfgang Etzold will defend his PhD thesis, “Processing of Polysaccharides by Direct-Ink Writing and Electrospinning for Biomedical Applications,” on Monday, February 23rd, at 10:00 a.m. in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Chemistry. Supervised by Dr. Robert Aguirresarobe and Prof. Marcelo Calderón, the thesis investigates innovative methods for processing polysaccharides using advanced fabrication techniques, aiming to develop novel biomedical materials. The thesis committee will be chaired by Prof. Aitor Larrañaga Espartero (Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea), with Prof. Alejandro Paredes (Queen’s University Belfast) as Secretary and Dr. Alaitz Ruiz de Luzuriaga Martinez (CIDETEC) as Member.
