From 6 to 10 October 2025, 3DAM – the 3D Additive Manufacturing Conference took place at Miramar Palace in Donostia-San Sebastian. The conference have been organized by the group of Prof. Haritz Sardon. Hevea3D, a spin-off from Polymat, also played a central role in the conference. The event gathered a global community of academics and industry professionals to explore advances in light-mediated and sustainable additive manufacturing, extrusion and powder bed fusion processes, biomedical applications, and functional materials for emerging technologies.

The international scope of 3DAM was reflected in its distinguished plenary speakers, including Emily Davidson (Princeton), Sandra Van Vlierberghe (Ghent), Tao Xie (Zhejiang), Martin Wegener (Karlsruhe), and David Mecerreyes, Scientific Director at Polymat. Other contributors from our institution included Ana María Muñoz, Francesca Perin, Robert Aguirresarobe, Alodi Pascal, Mercedes Fernández, Itxaso Calafel, Clara García, Oihane Varela, Haritz Sardon, Sandra Camarero, Miryam Criado, and Xabier López, who presented their latest research in the field of soft-materials additive manufacturing.
