We are proud to announce that Iliane Rafaniello Alonso, researcher at POLYMAT and CEO of SURPHASE, has been awarded in the Innovation in Technology and Digitalization category at the 1st Edition of the Gipuzkoa Emprendedora - Gipuzkoa Ekintzailea Awards, organized by ASPEGI.

Iliane holds a PhD in Applied Chemistry and Polymers from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and co-founded SURPHASE, a technology-based company that emerged as a spin-off from research carried out at POLYMAT.

The awards ceremony will take place on May 8th at the Aquarium of Donostia/San Sebastián.

Inés Larrea Villanueva, founder of the cooperative Bizipoz, and Eider Etxebarria, co-founder of CIMICO, have been awaded in the category of Social and Sustainable Entrepreneur and Young Entrepreneur respectively.
