POLYMAT is pleased to announce the launch of the EMAKIKER Grant 2025, aimed at outstanding female researchers in polymer science at the postdoctoral level. This initiative supports high-risk, high-reward research and fosters scientific independence and leadership.

EMAKIKER grantees will lead their own research project at POLYMAT, with full autonomy to develop innovative ideas. The grant includes a competitive salary, project funding for up to five years, and access to a mentoring network to support career progression towards a professorship.

Eligibility criteria:

• PhD in polymer science or a related field.
• At least two years of postdoctoral experience at an international institution.
• Applications should be submitted between two and six years after the PhD defense (exceptions may be considered).

POLYMAT intends to award 1-2 grants in 2025 to exceptional candidates.
