On January 16,, POLYMAT participated in the official press conference launching Emakumeak Zientzian 2025, an initiative that brings together 35 research institutions from the Basque Country to promote gender equality in science. The program aims to highlight the contributions of women in research, challenge stereotypes, and inspire new generations to pursue scientific careers.

As part of this year’s edition, POLYMAT will host two activities:

• "The Power of Experience: POLYMAT" (February 12) – A hands-on session for women aged 55+ to explore the world of research.
• "Journey into the Nano World" (February 14) – A workshop in collaboration with CIC nanoGUNE, introducing teenagers to nanoscience.

POLYMAT is proud to contribute to this initiative alongside other institutions committed to advancing diversity and inclusion in research.
