The team of researchers have developed novel waterborne pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs) with biobased contents up to 71% and UV-light-tunable features, using piperonyl methacrylate (PIPEMA) as a hard monomer. This new adhesive development minimizes volatile organic compounds, enhances the overall safety of the process and reduces costs.
