On June 29, Ane Olazabal will defend her PhD thesis at 10:00 a.m. in the Graduation Hall (Guillermo Martínez Hall) of the Faculty of Engineering.

Her dissertation, Development of a Scalable Synthesis for Bio-based Polyethers: A Step towards a more Sustainable Polyurethane Industry, has been supervised by Dr. Coralie Jehanno (POLYKEY) and Dr. Haritz Sardón (POLYMAT, EHU).

The research focuses on the development of scalable synthetic routes for bio-based polyethers, contributing to the transition towards more sustainable polyurethane materials and supporting the advancement of greener industrial processes.

The examination committee will be composed of Dr. Antxon Martínez de Ilarduya (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya), Dr. Jennifer Garden (The University of Edinburgh), and Dr. Miren Aguirre (POLYMAT).
