Prof. Sandra Camarero Co-Organizes TERMIS-EU 2026 Conference
POLYMAT has played a prominent role in the TERMIS-EU 2026 Conference, held in Palma de Mallorca from April 21–24, 2026, a key event bringing together the European community in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. The meeting is structured around thematic tracks covering biomaterials, advanced therapies, biofabrication, and clinical translation, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration and impact.
A central highlight is the co-organization of the conference by Prof. Sandra Camarero Espinosa, who serves as Conference Chair, contributing to the strategic definition of the scientific programme and reinforcing POLYMAT’s visibility in the field of bio-based and regenerative materials. The programme includes plenary lectures, keynote sessions, and parallel symposia aligned with emerging challenges such as translational pathways, regulatory frameworks, and scalable manufacturing approaches.
POLYMAT researchers have also contributed actively through oral and poster presentations across different sessions, showcasing advances in functional biomaterials and their biomedical applications. In parallel, the conference has provided a valuable platform for the dissemination of the Theratools project, supporting its outreach and fostering new collaborations within the European research and innovation landscape.
