Mr. Aleksandar Sladojevic will defend his PhD thesis, “Mechanisms, Kinetics and Control of Oxidation Processes Involving Vinyl and Acrylic Monomers,” on February 18th at 10:30 a.m. in the Auditorium of the Joxe Mari Korta Building. Supervised by Prof. Nicholas Ballard, the research provides an in-depth study of oxidation mechanisms and kinetics in vinyl and acrylic monomers, contributing to improved understanding and control of processes relevant to polymer synthesis and materials performance. The thesis committee will be chaired by Prof. Werner Pauer (Universität Hamburg), with Prof. Radmila Tomovska (Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea) as Secretary and Prof. Mattia Sponchioni (Politecnico di Milano) as Member.
