POLYMAT Researchers Received a Blender Illustration Course

A group of researchers at POLYMAT has successfully completed an intensive 21-hour training course dedicated to scientific polymer illustration using Blender. This specialized program was designed to equip our scientific team with advanced 3D modeling and visual storytelling tools, enabling them to communicate complex chemical and physical concepts in their upcoming research papers and public outreach efforts with greater clarity and visual impact.

The course was conducted by Guillermo Roa, a renowned journalist and scientific illustrator (www.sqooart.com). Throughout the sessions, participants learned how to leverage Blender's powerful open-source 3D capabilities to translate intricate macromolecular architectures and scientific data into precise, high-quality illustrations.
