POLYMAT recently joined the inaugural Basque Catalysis Symposium (BasKAT) at the Aulario Barriola in Donostia-San Sebastián, a premier gathering for the region’s scientific community. The morning featured high-level presentations from leading experts, including Prof. Avelino Corma (ITQ-CSIC) and our own Ana Beloqui, fostering a vibrant exchange between catalysis, chemistry, and materials science.
We are especially proud of Aurelio Mateo for his role in the symposium’s scientific coordination and for serving as a session chair alongside colleagues from CFM, CSIC, and EHU. Supported by partners like the DIPC and RSEQ, events like BasKAT are vital for strengthening the interdisciplinary ties that drive Basque innovation forward.
