POLYMAT Welcomes 20 Amazabal BHI Students
POLYMAT was pleased to welcome a group of 20 second-year Bachillerato students from Amazabal BHI (Leitza) to its laboratories, where they had the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into ongoing research activities. During the visit, the students explored polymer synthesis and latex characterization, learned about polymer processing through impact and tensile testing, and discovered advanced applications such as 3D bioprinting in tissue regeneration.
This experience was made possible thanks to the dedication of the research staff, who paused their work to contribute to this important educational activity: Sandra Camarero Espinosa, Nora Aranburu, Ana Trajcheva, Justine Elgoyhen, Mario Martínez Yubero, and Itziar Otaegi Tena.
Initiatives like this play a key role in inspiring future generations and bringing science closer to society.
