Four new high-level researchers have joined the Gipuzkoa R&D ecosystem through the Fellows Gipuzkoa grants programme for the year 2023.

Yesterday, the working meeting took place where the provincial officials had the opportunity to go into the details of the projects that are being carried out.

Among the researchers, Danila Merino stands out, who contributes to the vibrant research landscape promoted by the programme with her research project on the valorisation of non-edible, highly available and low-cost vegetable waste to prepare bioplastics that represent an alternative to the petroleum-based polymers traditionally used for agricultural use and in packaging applications.
