Yanne Darile Yaimyse Amassoka Bayanga
I earned my BSc in Chemistry from the University of Yaoundé in Cameroon in 2020, during which I interned on agricultural product transformation. I then pursued a MSc in Chemistry at the University of Basel, Switzerland, graduating in 2022. My master's thesis, supervisedby Professor Michael Nash, focused on synthesizing and developing novel biomaterials from genetically modified proteins for pharmaceutical use. After returning to Cameroon in 2023, I lectured on general chemistry and clinical bacteriology to university chemistry and nursing students.
Currently, my research at POLYMAT involves synthesizing multilayerpolymer capsules that incorporate bioactive entities and evaluatingtheir therapeutic potential in vitro, under the co-supervision of Dr.Aitor Larranaga and Dr. Ana Beloqui.
