Jon Larrañaga Medinilla

Jon Larrañaga earned his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of the BasqueCountry (EHU) in 2024. His Bachelor's Final Thesis, titled "Synthesis of HypercrosslinkedPolymers in Dispersed Media," was completed under the supervision of Dr. NicholasBallard.In 2025, he obtained a Master's Degree in Chemistry and Polymers from the EHU,specializing in polymers. His Master's Final Thesis, titled "Monitoring the Stability andProperties of Poly(Styrene-Butyl Acrylate)-Epoxy Hybrids and Blends," was carried outunder the supervision of Dr. Edurne González.Apart from his academic studies, Jon completed two summer internships in thePolymerization Processes Group during 2023 and 2024, where he gained hands-onexperience in polymer synthesis and characterization. Since September 2025, Jon has been pursuing his PhD on innovative techniques forprocessing polymer latexes, such as 3D printing and green electrospinning, under thesupervision of Dr. Miren Aguirre and Dr. Edurne González.
