Andrea Galan

Andrea Galán obtained her degree in Chemistry at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), where she also completed her MSc in Organic Chemistry in 2025. She carried out both her bachelor’s and master’s thesis in the field of Alzheimer's disease treatment at the Institute of General Organic Chemistry (IQOG-CSIC) under the supervision of Prof. José Luis Marco Contelles. Following this, she was awarded a JAE Intro ICU 2025 fellowship, undertaking training placements across three different research groups. Currently, Andrea is pursuing her Ph.D. in Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Aurelio Mateo Alonso.
