Sara González González
Sara González received her B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in 2022. During her bachelor studies, on summer of 2021, she carried out an internship in the Macromolecular Chemistry group (Labquimac) in the area of Synthesis and Characterization of biopolymers (Leioa). For her bachelor thesis, she worked on the preparation of biodegradable coatings based on starch, with barrier properties for the development of biobased food packaging. Then, in July 2023 she received her M.Sc. in Applied Chemistry and Polymers (UPV/EHU), obtaining a specialization in polymers. For her master thesis project, she worked at POLYMAT (Donostia-San Sebastian) on the preparation of new Polymer-Metal-Organic Frameworks (PolyMOFs) for CO2 capture.
Sara is currently a PhD student under the guidance of Dr Miren Aguirre (UPV/EHU). Her research topic is focused on the Morphology control of coagulated latexes.
