Dr. Xabier Lopez de Pariza
Xabier Lopez de Pariza earned his B. Sc in Chemistry from the University of the Basque Country in June 2018. In 2019 he obtained the Master in Chemistry and Polymers from the University of the Basque Country obtaining the specialization in polymers. During that period, he worked on the synthesis of polyurethanes under the supervision of Dr. James L Hedrick and Dr. Haritz Sardon at IBM Research Almaden (California, USA).
Xabier is currently a PhD student under the guidance of Prof. David Mecerreyes and Dr. Haritz Sardon. His research topic is focused on the chemical upcycling of polymers and further application into batteries to obtain more sustainable and safer devices.
