Mario Andres Martinez Yubero

Mario Martinez Yubero earned his B. Sc. in Chemistry from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in July 2021. He carried out his bachelor's project in the group of catalysis under the supervision of Prof. Oihane Sanz Iturralde. During the summer of 2021, he did an internship in the same catalysis group.  During 2021-2022 he did a double Master in Chemistry and Polymers at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and the Université de Bordeaux, obtaining a specialization in polymers. During the master's project, he studied the synthesis of functional hybrid nanofibres under the supervision of Dr. Edurne Gonzalez and Prof. Oihane Sanz Iturralde. His research is focused on the obtention of nanometre scale fibres by electrospinning technique. During his master's final project, he spent 5 months developing new photocatalytic nanofibres and also nanofibres for catalytic purposes in collaboration with the faculty of Science andTechnology in the Basque Country and Polymat.
