Jorge Juan Marco Guimbao
Jorge Juan Marco Guimbao (1996) graduated in Chemistry from the University of Zaragoza in 2021. During the last year of his studies, he moved to Strasbourg (France) thanks to an Erasmus scholarship. His Final Degree Project was based on the synthesis of molecular machines built from pillar[5]arene derivatives. During the 2021-2022 academic year, he completed a Master's degree in Physical Chemistry and Materials in Strasbourg, whose Master's Thesis consisted of the synthesis and study of photoactive molecular materials built from pillar[5]arene derivatives.
Currently, he is performing a doctoral thesis supervised by Prof. Juan Luis Delgado Cruz from Polymat (UPV-EHU). His research interests focus mainly on the design and study of new photoactive molecular materials with potential applications in optoelectronic devices and clean energy.
