Her research activity focuses on the relationship between processing, structure, and properties in melt-processed polymer blends and (nano)composites based on thermoplastic polymers, with particular interest in materials derived from renewable and/or biodegradable sources, polymer recycling, and the development of sustainable materials. Since joining EHU in 2014, she has participated in several competitive research projects funded through regional, national and international programmes. She has authored over 20 scientific publications in indexed peer-reviewed journals, most of them published in first-quartile (Q1) journals, and has presented her work at more than 15 scientific conferences, most of them international. As a member of Polymat, she has also participated in numerous research and technology transfer projects carried out in collaboration with industry. She has conducted technical consulting and applied research projects with several companies and technology centres, contributing to the transfer of scientific knowledge into practical solutions aimed at optimizing materials, processing technologies, and product performance.
