Dr. Letizia Molteni
Letizia Molteni obtained her BSc and MSc in Chemistry from the University of Insubria, Italy. In 2024, she completed her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Milan, where her research focused on the development of catalytic methodologies for the synthesis and transformation of biologically relevant heterocycles. During her PhD, she spent six months as a visiting researcher in the group of Benjamin List at the Max Planck Institute for Coal Research, investigating enantioselective cycloaddition reactions promoted by organocatalysts.
Following the completion of her PhD, she continued her research at the University of Milan, working on the development of sustainable synthetic methodologies through organometallic catalysis and alternative reaction media.
Since October 2024, she has been a postdoctoral researcher at POLYMAT in the group of Haritz Sardon. Her current research focuses on catalyst development, ring-opening polymerization, post-polymerization modification, and polymer recycling strategies for advanced and sustainable materials.
