Ekta Yadav
Ekta Yadav holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from University of Delhi, India, and a Master's degree in Chemistry from Delhi Technological University (DTU), India. During her Master's studies, she conducted research on the development of a zinc-loaded superabsorbent hydrogel for controlled micronutrient delivery in agricultural systems, fostering her interest in sustainable materials and green chemistry.
Following her Post-graduation, she worked as a Junior Chemical Analyst at Perfact Researchers Pvt. Limited, where she gained experience in soil characterization and the analysis of key physicochemical parameters. She later joined the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal as a Project Associate-I, contributing to the development of environmentally friendly controlled-release fertilizers based on biodegradable nanocomposite hydrogels for sustainable agricultural applications.
Ekta is currently pursuing her pre-doctoral studies at POLYMAT . Her research focuses on the design and fabrication of biodegradable and superabsorbent hydrogels, bio-based polymeric materials, and controlled-release systems for agricultural applications. Through her work, she aims to develop sustainable solutions that enhance nutrient-use efficiency, improve soil health, and promote environmentally responsible crop production.
