Pegah Sanjarnia
Pegah obtained her bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering (clinical) from Islamic Azad University, Iran, in 2015. Subsequently, she moved on to pursue a master's in the field of biomaterials engineering at the University of Tehran, Iran, which she received in 2021. During her postgraduate studies, she explored the fabrication and characterization of polymeric wound dressings containing antibacterial nanoparticles.
In 2023, Pegah started her Ph.D. project under the supervision of Prof. Marcelo Calderon in the Responsive Polymer Therapeutics Group at the Polymat institute. She is currently working on creating a novel wound dressing to aid wound healing.
