Jon Lopez de Lacalle Zabaleta
Jon López de Lacalle earned his B.Sc in chemistry from the faculty of Science and Technology, University of the Basque Country in July 2021, with the mention in Macromolecules. In July 2022 he earned the Double Master in Polymer Science between the universities of the Basque Country and the Bordeaux University.
His research during his Bachelor's was focused on the synthesis of graphene oxide-based structures for CO2 capture. Also, the effect of previously synthesized latexes was studied. However, during his Mater´s thesis, he was 6 months studying a new ionic polymer. The objective was to study the synthesis, characterization, and potential applications of new polymerizable deep eutectic solvents (DES).
