Ambos documentos se han convertido en elementos clave de la pol\u00edtica de la Uni\u00f3n Europea, convirtiendo la investigaci\u00f3n en una carrera atractiva e impulsando el crecimiento econ\u00f3mico y el empleo en Europa.<br \/>\nEn concreto, la Carta Europea del Investigador describe las funciones, responsabilidades y derechos de los investigadores y sus empleadores. El m\u00e9rito del investigador debe medirse no solo por el n\u00famero de publicaciones, sino tambi\u00e9n por una gama m\u00e1s amplia de criterios de evaluaci\u00f3n, como la formaci\u00f3n y la docencia, la supervisi\u00f3n, el trabajo en equipo, la transferencia de conocimiento, la gesti\u00f3n y las actividades de sensibilizaci\u00f3n p\u00fablica.<br \/>\nPara ayudar a acomodar las instituciones de investigaci\u00f3n a los principios de la Carta y del C\u00f3digo, la Comisi\u00f3n estableci\u00f3 un procedimiento a trav\u00e9s del cual aquellas instituciones interesadas en incluirlos podr\u00edan dise\u00f1ar su propia Estrategia de Recursos Humanos (RR.HH.)<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><\/div><!--close column table wrapper.
