The Basque Center for Macromolecular Design and Engineering, POLYMAT Fundazioa together with IKERBASQUE invites applications for a Research Professor position in: 

POLYMER RHEOLOGY and INNOVATIVE POLYMER PROCESSING. 

Candidates with deep knowledge of the core of Polymer Physics and Engineering and research interests in advanced manufacturing processes and processing-structure-property relationships are desired. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in polymers, engineering, material science, physics, or closely related field. 

The successful candidates must have an established record of excellence in research in each specific area and are expected to develop internationally recognized, externally funded research programs that complement or extend the strengths of POLYMAT, build internal and external collaborations and mentor graduate students. 

POLYMAT is a growing interdisciplinary polymer research centre (www.polymat.eu) with world-class research facilities devoted to use-inspired fundamental research on synthesis, assembly and processing of polymers that in concert with theory and simulation enable addressing some of the 21st century challenges in areas such as energy, health care and sustainability.
