Education

Dr. Nevena Marinova obtained her Master's degree in Fine Organic Synthesis in 2008 at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy Sofia (Bulgaria). In 2015 she defended a doctoral thesis at the same university under the supervision of prof. Vladimir Bojinov.

Her research was focused on synthesis and investigation of fluorescent sensors and light-harvesting antennae based on 1,8-naphthalimide dyes. During her PhD she spent 15 months at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Switzerland) where she carried out research on perovskite solar cells at prof. Greatzels's group.

Research

Her research interests include investigation of perovskite materials for photovoltaic application as well as design and synthesis of new organic materials for perovskite solar cells.
