Education

Leticia Pardo obtained a B.Sc. in Chemistry from University of the Basque Country, Spain in 2007. She subsequently stayed on for a PhD and later for postdoctoral work under the supervision of Prof. Esther Dominguez, working in the area of hypervalent iodine reagents. In 2010, she moved to Stockholm University as a visiting researcher with Prof. Berit Olofsson to work on the synthesis of diaryliodonium salts.

From 2013 to 2016, she joined Dr. McGlacken's group at University College Cork as a postdoctoral researcher, where she worked on new Pd-catalysed direct arylation methodologies via C-H activation.

Research

Her research interests are focused on the synthesis of biodegradable adhesives from renewable sources.
