Ricardo Arpad Pérez Camargo is a Materials Engineering (Simón Bolívar University, USB, Caracas, Venezuela) since 2008, with a M.Sc. in Materias Engineering obtained in 2013 at the same university, focusing his research towards poly (ε-caprolactone) with linear and cyclic topology and their blends with carbon nanotubes under the supervision of Dr. Alejandro Müller.

After that, he works as a teaching assistant at USB and collaborates in at GPUSB (Grupo de Polímeros de la USB) performing thermal characterization of homopolymers, copolymers, blends and nanocomposites, and the extrusion of different polymeric materials.

Currently he is doing his PhD at POLYMAT, Basque Center for Macromolecular Design and Engineering supervised by Dr. Alejandro Müller.
