Education

Leire Sangroniz earned her B. Sc. In Chemistry in 2014 and a MSc in Polymer and Chemistry (specialization in Poymers) in 2015, by the University of the Basque Country. She did summer internships in Rheology Group in 2012 and 2013. She obtained a collaboration grant from the Basque Government and a grant for the realization of masters from the University of the Basque Country.

Research

Since October 2015 she is doing her PhD under the supervision of Prof. Antxon Santamaria and Prof. Alejandro J. Müller. Her major research interests are the study of immiscible blends filled with nanoparticles focusing on the relationship between rheology and morphology and the investigation of self nucleation in semicrystalline polymers by rheological techniques in order to detect melt heterogeneities.
